PUBLIC POWER WEEK - OCTOBER 4 - 10, 2009

The event will focus on promoting energy and water savings to customers. Lowering of electric or water consumption not only helps the environment, it helps lower utility costs.

In order to contribute to the community, Waupun Utilities is collecting toiletry items for Waupun's Food Pantry throughout the open house. Any customer bringing in a toiletry/paper product donation for the food pantry will be eligible to sign up for an array of energy saving prizes. A battery-powered mower, Energy Savings appliance voucher, torchiere lamp and tree certificates are prizes for the week long event.

In addition, each household will be eligible for a free gift for attending the open house. Each household can select from various energy and water saving products up to a $30 value. Two donations for the food pantry will qualify you for an additional $10 choice of products.

Come join your local utility and help out the community with your donation to Waupun's Food Pantry. Your help can help someone in need, and you will be rewarded with products of your choice to help conserve energy and water.
