Energy Open House Offers Savings

Each year an open house is held at the utility complex in conjunction with Public Power Week. Waupun is a municipal utility, providing local service, lower electric rates and a presence in your community.

This year's event included vendors on hand providing information about Neighborhood Electric Vehicles and Energy Star Appliances. Bucket truck rides, face painting, a plug-in hybrid electric vehicle, neighborhood electric vehicles, renewable energy options, an electric safety display, prizes, gifts and refreshments were all part of the event. Over 400 people attended the annual open house.
